Is it true that the Green color is good for your eyes?
I know what you are getting at…
No, that is just a silly myth that looking at green things can improve your vision.
A couple of those scam exercise for the eyes sites say that, but it is just nonsense.

Mayan acupressure/Reiki in southern CA?
I've been given the runaround by my Dr's for over a year now with no sign of actual treatment(or formal diagnosis) in sight.
It's time to pursue other avenues of medicine.
Anyone know of anybody who specializes in Mayan acupressure or Reiki treatments in or around Southern California?

How do you believe the Chinese discovered accupuncture/accupressure?
I'm curious as to how these humans of ancient times seemed to realize that an electric current flows through the body and at which points on the body were the positions to apply the pins/pressure to restore proper energy flow and cure ailments

Frankincense and myrrh are two herbs mentioned repeatedly in the bible. I find it fascinating that Egyptians used myrrh for embalming the bodies of Pharaohs while frankincense was used in India as incense for worship during biblical times. These shrubs, or small trees, of the family Burseraceae produce a liquid when the bark is punctured. That Read more…

Still sleek and lean, her white face and telltale shorter gate was evidence that she was a healthy example of a senior-dog citizen. Sheba’s naps were getting longer and when getting up and getting Read more…

High Performance Liquid Chromatography Fingerprinting Technology of the Commonly-used Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbs
This book provides a comprehensive and up-to-date account of the HPLC technology and fingerprints of commonly-used Chinese herbs. It contains HPLC fingerprints of over 40 traditional Chinese medicinal herbs and details their sources, production and quality control. The book provides a practical review of techniques, relevant materials, and the particular demands for using HPLC in traditional Chinese medicinal herb applications. It also covers HPLC methods used to analyze the herbs. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is increasingly used in the field of traditional Chinese medicine for obtaining fingerprints of Chinese medicinal herbs. Advantages such as high speed, high resolution, high sensitivity, stability, accuracy, and automation make it one of the leading techniques used for quality control, standardization of planting, and new drug development in traditional Chinese medicine. To date, no other books on HPLC fingerprints of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs have been published in English. This is the first book in English devoted to providing readers with state-of-the-art information on HPLC applied in the analysis of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs.
